Dr Greg Hough is a healthcare practitioner specialising as a Physician Endocrinologist from Pietermaritzburg in KZN. His practice offers complete Diabetes and Endocrine care. Dr Hough is particularly interested in Rare Diseases in addition to General Endocrinology.
Dr Hough completed his MBChB at the University of Cape Town in 1996. In 2004 he obtained his FCP while working at the UCT/Groote Schuur Hospital complex. His certificate in endocrinology was obtained in 2007 while working at the University of Stellenbosch/Tygerberg Hospital complex.
Dr Hough has 15 years experience as an Endocrinologist in Private practice. His current private practice was established in 2023. Private practice allows him to operate at the cutting edge of medical practice using new drugs and diagnostic tools as they become available.
He enjoys the unique challenge each patient presents him with. Nothing gives him greater joy and job satisfaction than learning and being able to apply new information and seeing its benefits in his patients.
